Since its founding in 1992, Assay Designs has continued to provide the worldwide biomedical, pharmaceutical, and scientific research communities with quality, rapid, and easy-to-use products designed to "Simplify Your Science®".
Our continually expanding product line includes kits and materials for the detection and quantification of small molecules and proteins that are important in inflammation and immunity, oxidative stress, steroid and hormone biology, cell signaling, and bioenergetics. Providing unsurpassed precision and reproducibility, Assay Designs offers a broad range of eicosanoid kits, human and mouse cytokine kits, and the world's only non-radioactive COX activity kit.
Our merger in 2005 with Stressgen Bioreagents has broadened our product offering to include the definitive collection of heat shock protein and molecular chaperone products including ELISA kits, antibodies, recombinant proteins, and reagents. We are dedicated to building on over 15 years of Stressgen research by further developing and manufacturing novel user-friendly heat shock, chaperone, and cell signaling products.
Assay Designs products are extensively tested in-house and their superior performance is documented by hundreds of citations in peer-reviewed journals. Assay Designs offers a comprehensive portfolio of ELISA, EIA, and FPIA kits, monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins, luminescent reagents, substrates, and inhibitors. To meet the needs of today's research, our antibodies are tested in a variety of applications with a number of species. Assay Designs also offers contract manufacturing and custom design products for specialized research needs.
Our Mission Statement
Assay Designs was formed to make the highest quality products for the research scientific community. The company believes that the only way for employees of Assay Designs to achieve this goal is to ensure that the employees are enjoying their work, are adequately compensated, have sufficient vacation time to relax, and have a significant ownership in not only the company, but also in the work that each employee does at the company.
To achieve this goal the company tries to ensure that every employee will treat both customer and fellow co-worker as a friend and do everything that they would wish their friends to do to help them. The founders of the company grew up during a time when some of the barriers to discrimination were being broken down around the world and it is this company’s philosophy to try to encourage and support the removal of all forms of discrimination.
