北京維通利華實驗動物技術有限公司，作為美國Charles River Laboratories在華合資企業，是國內唯一核心群全部來自美國Charles River的實驗動物供應商，致力于為生命科學研究提供高質量的實驗動物產品和相關服務。
維通利華自上世紀末成立至今一直從事大規模屏障設施內SPF級實驗動物繁育研究，長期的生產實踐形成一套科學、嚴謹、成熟的SOPs。專業化的管理以及多年從事SPF級動物繁育的高素質人員保證了動物的健康和遺傳完整性，符合嚴格的國際標準。維通利華擁有建筑面積超過35000m2的生產設施，年產符合SPF/VAF®標準的嚙齒類實驗動物超過400萬只，涵蓋30多個品系的大小鼠以及地鼠、豚鼠、兔等實驗動物，已經成為國內最大的實驗動物生產供應商。
維通利華是美國Jackson實驗室指定的中國代理商，Jackson實驗室保有的6000多個通過基因工程手段制作的動物模型，將為國內科研機構在實驗動物選擇上提供更為廣闊的空間。本著精誠合作、銳意進取的精神，維通利華將不斷提高產品質量、更新相關技術，滿足市場和用戶新的需求，為促進人類健康貢獻一份力量。
2012年維通利華與Charles River簽署合資協議
As the leading and the biggest supplier of laboratory animals in China, Vital River Laboratories (VRL) dedicates to offer integrated laboratory animals and related services in support of biopharmaceutical research.
Since founded in the end of 20th century, Vital River engaged in refining breeding practice of SPF laboratory animals in isolator and barrier facilities. Now Vital River has more than 350 employees, and provides over 30 strains of rats, mice, hamster and guinea pig from 4 state-of-the-art facilities.
Vital River is the only rodent production licensee of Charles River Laboratories in mainland China and as a distributor of The Jackson Laboratory, CRL and others, VRL provides more options and better services for domestic customers.
