韓國spl成立于1987年5月，主要以金屬模具的設計、制作及塑料模具的生產為主。1994年公司在韓國第一個開發出了高分子塑料表面處理技術－PLAZMA。憑借這項創新技術，在原有金屬模具加工技術的基礎上，首先推出了細胞培養皿，很快，試制的產品通過了各種測試，正式開始推向市場。2003年9月公司獲得了ISO9001品質管理認證。現在韓國SPL產品已經在中國，新加坡，俄羅斯等全球開始銷售。
