Premier Biosoft International, founded in 1994, is a Palo Alto-based developer of advanced intuitive software for molecular biology. These stable, extensible software programs include Array Designer, a comprehensive desktop tool to efficiently design hundreds of specific oligos for SNP detection or expression studies; AlleleID, a probe and primer design package for pathogen detection, arterial identification, species identification and taxa discrimination using qPCR assays and microarrays; and Beacon Designer that allows end-users to design oligos for SYBR®Green, TaqMan®, LNA-spiked TaqMan®, MethylLight, molecular beacon, NASBA®, Scorpions® and FRET assays.
