In 1996, StatSpin was acquired by IRIS International, Inc. As part of IRIS International, StatSpin has changed its name to Iris Sample Processing to describe a broader line of products and services for sample processing needs. The StatSpin brand name will continue to be used for our successful line of rapid processing centrifuges. For over 20 years, Iris Sample Processing (StatSpin) has excelled as a manufacturer of innovative centrifuges and blood analysis products. Our current product range includes the world's fastest blood separator (30 seconds); primary tube centrifuges that can produce high quality plasma in only 2 minutes; a closed system for preparation of sediments for urine microscopy; a low cost cytocentrifuge for clinical and research applications; a denaturation and hybridization instrument for performing an important step in fluorescent in-situ hybridization (F)ISH procedures and a wide selection of innovative sample collection and processing devices.
