作為迪氏曼集團進軍中國的第一步。迪氏曼集團于2004年2月在上海外高橋保稅區注冊成立了全資子公司——迪氏曼國際貿易（上海）有限公司。經過近四年的不泄努力，目前中國已成為迪氏曼集團全球化工原料最主要的采購地。同時面對中國這個巨大的潛在市場，迪氏曼集團決定進一步將生產基地延伸到中國，并于2006年9月在上海化工園區投資成立全資工廠：迪氏曼醫藥和化工（上海）有限公司。該公司占地75000平方米，依托印度總公司成功獲得GMP證書及美國FDA認證的經驗，主要生產原料藥，醫藥中間體，季磷鹽及季銨鹽產品。
Dishman Pharmaceuticals & Chemicals公司（印度Mumbai）也正在打造其全球委托生產生意。公司收購了IO3公司（瑞士Bern，ww.io3s.com），該公司致力于臭氧化學。IO3S公司現在的資產（不包括對資產的再評估）為200萬美元，收購價低于這個價格。2005年，Dishman公司收購了英國曼徹斯特的委托研發公司Synprotec公司。Dishman公司還完成了一個面積7500平方英尺的研發中心，包括一個新CGMP試驗工廠和公司產品Bavla在印度的CGMP生產部門。
