荷蘭Metris成立于1994年.
Metris LABORAS系統(tǒng)是一套利用動作感應(yīng)器及震動偵測原理，無關(guān)乎實(shí)驗(yàn)環(huán)境的采光問題，可以在全黑的環(huán)境下運(yùn)作，且不需要要求動物的顏色，即可自動偵測幾項(xiàng)常見的動物行為，包括：Locomotion、Resting、Rearing、Climbing、 Crooming、Drinking 及Eating,並積極研發(fā)擴(kuò)展其他Stereotyped Behaviors等。
LABORAS的系統(tǒng)，除了可以提供動物在飼養(yǎng)籠中，自由活動的軌跡、行進(jìn)的路徑及距離、行進(jìn)的速度、平均、極大值， 以及偏好位置的分佈。
Metris was originally founded in 1994 and registered as Metris System Engineering V.O.F. In May 1999, new shareholders joined the company and the legal personality of the company was changed, resulting in it's current name: Metris B.V. The development activities were intensified and several innovative products in the field of automated animal behavior recording and analysis were developed since then.
Today Metris is generally seen as one of the trendsetters and marketleaders in the field of animal behaviour research equipment.
Metris is already for several years the only provider of independently validated research equipment that determines the behavior of small laboratory animals non-invasively and without any human observation.
Our on-going innovations and the use of state of the art technologies and materials garantuee that our products provide unique functionality and high reliability. By working closely together with our customers the products also have a customer driven design and have significantly increased the efficiency of the research work done by our customers. Our products LABORAS and SONOTRACK are the direct result of this approach. Both systems resulted in increased efficiency compared to existing systems or methods.
A full understanding of all customer requirements and the design of systems that lead to increased efficiency and productivity will remain the basis of our approach for the years to come.
